Aunt Sadie’s Candies Web Site
Press Room
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Media:
I have always had, you should excuse the
pun, an open stove policy with the
press. There are no secrets in Aunt
Sadie’s candy kitchen, just as there are
no secrets to enjoying great candy. And
I want to make sure that you get all the
information you need to tell my story
and also that you have a chance to try
my wonderful kosher candy.
If you’re working on a story and would
like to review my line of delicious,
gourmet kosher candy, just send us a
letter, on the publication’s letterhead,
telling us about your article and we’ll
send you samples to enjoy and critique.
It’s our way of recruiting you to the
sweet side of life, something, I have
discovered, the press can always use.
Our Web site press room offers links to
downloadable stories and photos to use
as is or as background for your work.
Feel free to use any or all of the
material as you please. And be good boys
and girls to Aunt Sadie. You know she
loves you.

A Central

key to
successful

THE “GREENING”
OF AUNT SADIE’S CANDIES
ASHLAND, Oregon, (March 4, 2009) – When
you think of environmentally friendly
products, reduced automobile emissions,
products with recycled materials and
those with minimal carbon footprints
come to mind. But candy, what can a
gourmet candy company do about the
environment, aside from putting a smile
on customers’ faces and making the world
an infinitely happier place?

SHALOM
ASHLAND, Oregon, (February 19, 2009) –
It’s not often that Ashland, Oregon is
the birthplace of a new brand, let alone
a gourmet line of kosher candy, and
kosher for Passover yet. Well Aunt
Sadie’s Candies™, a new brand being sold
as a fundraising vehicle by the students
of the Temple Emek Shalom religious
school, is not only Ashland-born, it’s
officially on the market. The new line
of kosher candy, dubbed “Old World
Sweets for a New World,” includes many
traditional favorites, but made up to
strict eco-kosher standards.
